The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock is a purpose-built replacement unit for riders wanting more consistent control and chassis feedback from their Suzuki. Built around Ohlins’ STX architecture, it focuses on stable damping behaviour and predictable response over real-world road surfaces. This is a rear mono-shock supplied with a fitted spring.

Developed from Ohlins suspension know-how, the STX 46 Street range is designed to deliver controlled damping and improved ride composure without compromising everyday usability. It is intended as a complete, model-specific rear shock solution rather than a universal conversion.

The shock is delivered with an Ohlins base setting intended to suit standard road use as a starting point. From there, rebound and preload can be tailored to rider preference, typical load, and surface conditions.

Before you install

Confirm the application matches your Suzuki model and mounting configuration before fitting.
Set sag and preload for your rider weight and any regular passenger or luggage use.
After installation, make changes one at a time so you can clearly feel the effect of each adjustment.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Ohlins units are designed to be maintained over their service life. Periodic servicing helps keep damping performance consistent as the oil and internal wear items age with use.
