  • Oil/gas separation via an internal separation piston for more stable damping behaviour
  • Coil spring fitted

Tuning Controls

  • Rebound damping adjustment

Base Setup (factory preset)

Supplied with a manufacturer base setting intended as a starting point. From there, rebound adjustment can be used to balance comfort, grip, and stability to suit your load and riding conditions.

Before You Install

  • Confirm exact fitment for your BMW R nineT Scrambler prior to installation.
  • If you are changing ride height or geometry, check clearances and chain/belt alignment where applicable.
  • After installation, verify fastener torque and free movement through suspension travel.

Serviceability/Lifecycle

As a pressurised, sealed-cartridge shock, regular servicing helps maintain consistent performance over time. Service intervals depend on use and conditions, especially if the bike is used in wet, dusty, or high-mileage environments.

Is It Right For You?

This shock suits riders who want a pressurised, oil/gas-separated design with the ability to tune rebound damping. It’s a practical choice if you prefer simple external adjustment without added complexity.
