The Ohlins CC607 STX 36 Twin shock is a rear suspension unit developed for vintage and classic motocross applications. It is built to deliver controlled damping feel and consistent behaviour across changing track conditions. This model uses a gas-pressurised damping layout to support stable performance when the shock is working hard.

STX twin shocks carry Ohlins race-derived damping design in a format suited to twin-shock chassis. The aim is predictable control, traction and confidence without making the bike feel harsh.

Designed for riders restoring, racing or regularly riding vintage/classic motocross machines that run twin rear shocks. It suits those chasing clear feedback, improved rear tyre drive and stability through braking bumps and corner exits.

Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas (gas-pressurised) shock design rather than a basic emulsion-only layout. The damping is built around the STX 36 Twin architecture, intended to maintain consistency and resist fade during demanding motos.

Tuning controls

Independent compression and rebound damping circuits allow you to tune support and control to match rider preference and track conditions. This makes it easier to balance comfort, traction and chassis stability as grip and bump severity change.

Before you install

Confirm eye-to-eye length and stroke match your motorcycle’s requirements before fitment.
Check spring fitment and condition, and ensure correct mounting hardware is used.
After installation, re-check fasteners and alignment once the suspension has been cycled through full travel.
