The Ohlins TTX Flow DV rear shock for the Yamaha YZ 250F is built for riders who want consistent damping control and clear feedback on track. It uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design to help maintain damping stability as conditions change. Designed around independent damping circuits, it supports precise setup for riding style and surface without relying on vague “one setting fits all”.

Ohlins motocross shocks are developed from competition-focused damping architecture and are designed to be tuned, serviced, and maintained as part of a serious setup. The TTX Flow DV family focuses on stability and control through a more consistent damping environment under repeated load.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjustment for compression damping, rebound damping, and spring preload (preload adjuster noted as compatible in the product notes). The independent damping architecture is intended to make changes more repeatable when refining chassis balance and traction feel.

Before you install

No spring is supplied; a suitable spring must be selected separately as per the noted spring series.
Confirm spring choice and any preload adjuster requirements prior to installation.
Use the recommended Ohlins oil listed for service work where applicable.

Serviceability/lifecycle

As a performance rear shock, routine servicing is part of ownership to keep damping behaviour consistent. A serviceable design also allows internal inspection and reconditioning as components wear over time.
