The Ohlins STX 36 Supersport rear shock for the Honda CBR250R is built to deliver controlled damping and clearer chassis feedback on the road and track. Its gas-pressurised design helps maintain consistency as temperatures rise. Designed as a direct-fit rear mono shock, it supports more accurate tuning than a standard unit.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised shock absorber intended to reduce fade and maintain damping consistency. It is supplied as a rear mono shock replacement and forms part of the Ohlins STX 36 Supersport product family.

Tuning controls

The shock provides external rebound damping adjustment and spring preload adjustment, allowing you to set ride height attitude and how quickly the shock returns after compression.

Before you install

Set sag and preload for your weight and typical riding load before fine-tuning damping.
Inspect linkage bearings and mounting hardware condition during installation.
After fitting, re-check all fasteners and confirm free movement through suspension travel.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like all performance shocks, periodic servicing helps keep damping consistent over time. If the shock is used frequently on track, more regular inspection and service intervals are recommended.
