The Ohlins HO136 is an STX 36 Supersport rear mono shock for the Honda CBR150R, built around a compact, track-focused architecture. It’s designed to improve chassis control and tyre contact under acceleration, braking and direction changes. This unit uses a gas-pressurised damping system to help maintain consistent damping behaviour during demanding riding.

Developed from Ohlins racing suspension design practice, the STX 36 Supersport range targets riders who want clear feedback and predictable rear-end support. The aim is stable geometry through corners and improved drive on corner exit.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear shock with separated oil/gas to reduce aeration and improve damping stability. The STX 36 Supersport design focuses on controlled damping response and consistent behaviour as conditions change.

Tuning controls

The HO136 provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tune support, grip and recovery speed to suit tyres, pace and road/track conditions.

Set sag and balance front-to-rear before making damping changes.
