The Ohlins HO1693 TTX 44 rear shock is a model-specific replacement unit for the Honda CRF 250R. Built around Ohlins’ twin-tube TTX architecture, it is designed to deliver consistent damping feel through changing track conditions. This unit is supplied without a spring, allowing spring choice to be matched to rider weight and use.

TTX 44 shocks are developed from Ohlins off-road racing experience, focusing on stability, traction and predictable chassis behaviour. The design is aimed at riders who want a more controlled rear end without making setup overly complex.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-charged shock with separated oil and gas, designed to help maintain damping consistency during extended motos. The TTX twin-tube layout supports stable damping performance and controlled oil flow under load.

Tuning controls

The shock provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping. This allows you to balance rear wheel traction, chassis stability under braking, and support on acceleration based on track conditions and riding style.

Before you install

Spring is not supplied; a suitable spring is sold separately (see product notes for spring series guidance).
As with any shock change, sag and clicker settings should be set for the rider before evaluating handling.
