The Ohlins TTX Flow rear shock for the Yamaha YZ 450F is built around a race-derived damping architecture aimed at delivering consistent control across changing track conditions. It is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated design to help maintain damping stability during long motos. Supplied without a spring, it is intended to be paired with an appropriate-rate spring to suit rider weight and use.

TTX Flow technology focuses on stable damping behaviour and clear feedback at the rear wheel. The design is intended to support traction and chassis balance when the pace increases and the terrain gets rough.
