Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas separated monotube design from the STX 46 Adventure family, intended to deliver stable damping under sustained use. The architecture is built to manage heat and maintain consistency when the pace or terrain demands more from the rear suspension.

Tuning controls

Adjustability includes rebound damping and compression damping, giving you a practical way to influence rear-wheel control, support and ride feel. A hydraulic spring preload adjuster is included to make load changes (luggage/pillion) easier to manage.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is supplied with an Ohlins-fitted spring and a baseline setting intended for the target application. From there, small changes to preload, rebound and compression can be used to suit rider preference and typical loading.
