The Ohlins KA1994 TTX Flow Rear Shock is a rear mono shock absorber built for Kawasaki KX 450F fitment where consistent damping control and traction matter. It uses a pressurised gas design to help maintain damping stability as conditions and temperatures change. The TTX Flow architecture is intended to deliver clear chassis feedback and controlled movement through rough sections and heavy braking zones.

Developed from Ohlins racing experience, this unit focuses on controlled damping performance with a practical tuning range for motocross and enduro-style impacts. It is supplied without a spring, allowing you to select a rate to suit rider weight and use.

Who this shock is for

Suited to riders chasing more composure and grip from the rear end, particularly when accelerating out of corners, landing jumps, or riding through braking bumps. It is also a sensible choice if you want a higher level of adjustability than a basic OEM-style shock can provide.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated rear shock using the Ohlins TTX Flow concept with dedicated damping circuits. The aim is stable damping behaviour and predictable response across repeated impacts.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping, with separate high-speed and low-speed compression control. This lets you tune support for bigger hits while retaining compliance over smaller chatter.

Before you install

No spring is supplied; a compatible spring must be selected and fitted (see product notes/spring series guidance).
Set sag and baseline adjusters after installation to suit rider weight, terrain and tyres.
Service intervals and oil choice should follow Ohlins recommendations for your use conditions.
