The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for KTM 790 Duke and KTM 890 Duke is built to deliver controlled damping and consistent chassis behaviour in real-world street riding. It is a direct-fit rear mono shock designed to improve feel and stability without adding complexity. Fitment note: it does not fit the Duke 890 R.

Base setup (factory preset)

This shock is supplied with an Ohlins-recommended base setup intended as a starting point for street use. Fine-tuning rebound and compression from that baseline helps match your tyre choice, load and preferred ride feel.

Confirm model compatibility before purchase; this unit does not fit KTM 890 Duke R
After installation, check sag and then adjust damping in small steps to suit your riding conditions

Serviceability/lifecycle

Like all performance dampers, periodic servicing helps maintain oil condition, seal integrity and consistent damping. Regular inspection is recommended if the bike sees frequent hard street use or varying weather conditions.
