The Ohlins YA2192 is a rear TTX Flow shock absorber for Yamaha YZ 125/250 2-stroke motocross models. Built around Ohlins’ twin-tube architecture, it is intended to deliver consistent damping and clear chassis feedback across changing track conditions. It is supplied without a spring, allowing you to select the correct rate for your rider weight and use.

TTX Flow is Ohlins’ race-derived rear shock platform, designed for controlled damping performance and predictable feel. The twin-tube layout is focused on stable damping behaviour through the stroke, with good sensitivity to small bumps and support under load.

Shock design & features

This shock uses an oil/gas separated design. It is configured as a mono rear shock application and is intended for motocross/enduro use where repeated impacts and heat build-up demand consistent damping response.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping. These controls let you tune how quickly the shock extends after an impact and how firmly it resists compression under bumps, braking loads, and acceleration.

Before you install

No spring is supplied. Select a compatible spring from the specified series noted for this model, then set sag and baseline adjustments before riding. If you are unsure on spring rate choice or setup direction, confirm your bike model details and intended use before ordering.

Serviceability/lifecycle
