The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Ducati Multistrada 1000/1100 is designed to improve damping control and chassis stability for road riding. Built around Ohlins race-derived damping know-how, it focuses on consistent response and predictable grip. This unit uses a gas-pressurised design to help maintain damping consistency as conditions change.

Ohlins Street shocks are developed to deliver controlled, repeatable damping on real roads. The aim is clearer feedback at the tyre contact patch and steadier behaviour under braking and acceleration.

Shock design & features

This is an oil/gas separated, gas-pressurised rear mono shock. The damping layout is intended to provide stable behaviour through a wide range of road speeds and loads while maintaining consistent performance.

Tuning controls

Rebound damping: adjustable to control how quickly the shock returns after compression
Compression damping: adjustable to manage support and impact control under braking and bumps
Spring preload: adjustable to set ride height and support for rider/load

Before you install
