Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjustment for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tailor chassis response to your tyres, roads and preferred feel. It also includes spring preload adjustment to set ride height and sag correctly for your load and riding style.

Base setup (factory preset)

The HO707 is supplied with an Ohlins-recommended baseline setup to suit typical street use. Use this starting point, then make small, methodical changes to rebound, compression and preload to match your bike and conditions.

Before you install

• Confirm fitment for your Honda CB 600F Hornet and check clearances around the shock, linkage and exhaust.
• Set sag and preload after installation; correct spring preload is critical before adjusting damping.
• Record your starting settings so you can return to a known baseline after changes.

Serviceability/lifecycle
