The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock is a direct-fit replacement for the Yamaha MT-07 (FZ-07), MT-07 Pure, and XSR 700/XTribute models. It is designed to improve chassis control and consistency by giving the rider more usable damping adjustment than a standard unit. This is a rebuildable performance shock intended for road use where feedback and stability matter.

Shock design & features

This is an Ohlins STX 46 Street mono shock with an oil/gas-separated damping design to help maintain consistency when the shock is working hard. The internal layout is aimed at improving traction and control, with damping behaviour intended to remain stable across a range of conditions.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping, letting you fine-tune how quickly the shock extends after compression. Spring preload adjustment is also provided to set ride height and support for rider weight and luggage.

Set sag and preload first, then use rebound adjustment to refine feel and stability
