The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for Yamaha YZF 1000 is built for riders chasing clearer feedback and more consistent damping on the road. Based on Ohlins racing development, it focuses on stability under load and predictable grip through corners. STX 46 Street is Ohlins’ road-focused performance platform, engineered to improve chassis control without compromising everyday usability. It’s intended as a complete replacement rear mono shock to restore and refine the bike’s suspension behaviour.

Shock design & features

This is an oil and gas separated, gas-pressurised rear shock architecture designed to reduce fade and keep damping consistent. The damping layout is built around independent compression and rebound circuits for clearer tuning changes and predictable response.

Before you install
