The Ohlins HM250 STX 46 Supersport rear shock is a track-focused replacement unit built to deliver controlled damping and clear tyre feedback on the Harris Magnum 4. It uses a gas-pressurised damping system to help maintain consistency as temperatures and loads change. Independent damping circuits allow you to tune the bike to suit surface grip and riding style.

Developed from Ohlins road racing experience, the STX 46 Supersport platform is aimed at riders who want predictable chassis behaviour and repeatable setup changes. It is intended for rear mono-shock applications where stability and traction are priorities.

Who this shock is for

Suited to riders using the Harris Magnum 4 in spirited road riding, track days, or competition where consistent feel and tunability matter. It is most relevant if you are chasing improved control during braking, corner entry, and drive off the turn compared with a basic rear shock.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised rear shock from the Ohlins STX 46 Supersport family. The pressurised design is used to support stable damping performance and resist fade during repeated hard use.

Tuning controls

The shock provides independent damping adjustment for compression and rebound, allowing you to balance support, grip, and stability. This makes it easier to separate changes needed for bump compliance from those needed for chassis control.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for your Harris Magnum 4 and inspect linkage and bearings so the shock can move freely through its stroke. Once installed, set sag and confirm adjusters are operating through their full range before fine-tuning on track or road.
