The Ohlins AP351 STX 46 Supersport rear shock is a direct replacement unit for the rear mono-shock position on selected Aprilia models. Built on the STX 46 Supersport platform, it is designed to provide controlled, consistent damping and a practical tuning range for mixed road and track use. The shock uses a gas-separated design to help maintain damping stability as temperatures and loads change.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated rear shock (not an emulsion design). The separated layout helps reduce cavitation risk and supports more consistent damping during longer sessions.

Tuning controls

Rebound damping: controls how quickly the shock extends after bumps and acceleration loads, influencing stability and traction.
Compression damping: controls resistance to compression under braking, bumps and cornering loads, influencing support and ride harshness.
