The Ohlins STX 46 Supersport rear shock for Yamaha FZR models is built around a track-focused architecture that also suits fast road riding. It is designed to improve damping control and rear tyre contact through a wider tuning range than a stock unit. This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated shock to help maintain consistent damping during sustained hard use.

Developed from Ohlins racing experience, the STX 46 Supersport line targets riders who want clearer chassis feedback and more controlled weight transfer. It is intended as a proper suspension upgrade where predictable behaviour matters under braking, corner entry and acceleration.
