The Ohlins KA153 STX 46 Supersport rear shock is built for Kawasaki ZX-6R riders chasing consistent damping control and clear chassis feedback. Developed from Ohlins circuit experience, it is intended to support confident braking and cornering without compromising feel. It uses a gas-pressurised damping system to help maintain stable performance over a session.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 Supersport rear mono shock with a gas-pressurised damping layout. The architecture is intended to provide consistent damping behaviour and reduce the likelihood of fade under sustained load.

Tuning controls

Adjustment is provided for rebound damping and compression damping. These controls let you refine chassis attitude, support and tyre grip to suit riding style, track surface and tyre choice.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for your Kawasaki ZX-6R and check overall condition of linkage bearings and mounts.
Set sag and balance front-to-rear before fine-tuning damping adjustments.
