The Ohlins IN965 STX 46 Blackline rear shock absorber is built to improve damping control and ride stability on the Indian FTR 1200 platform. It suits riders who want a more controlled rear end feel while keeping a classic Blackline appearance. This is a direct-fit replacement shock for the specified models.

Developed from Ohlins racing suspension experience, the STX architecture is designed to deliver consistent damping behaviour in real-world street conditions. The Blackline finish is intended to suit bikes where styling matters as much as function.

Who this shock is for

Ideal for FTR riders chasing better composure over mixed road surfaces and more adjustability than the standard unit. It’s also a good match for owners building a premium street/custom setup where finish and fitment are important.

Shock design & features

This STX 46 Blackline uses a separated oil and gas design to help maintain damping consistency under load. It’s engineered as a purpose-built rear shock for the Indian FTR 1200, FTR 1200 R Carbon and FTR 1200 S.

Tuning controls

You can tune this shock with external rebound damping adjustment, compression damping adjustment, and spring preload adjustment. These controls let you balance comfort, support and traction to suit your roads, tyres and riding style.

Before you install

Fitment note: does not fit the rally version and fits only bikes with 120 mm rear wheel travel. If your bike’s specification is different, confirm compatibility before ordering or installing.
