The Ohlins KA906 STX 46 Street rear shock is a direct-fit rear mono shock for the Kawasaki ER-6 N/F, including models with or without ABS. It is built around the STX 46 Street architecture to provide controlled damping and consistent feel on real roads. This unit is supplied with a fitted spring.

Ohlins | Made to race, perfected to ride

Ohlins street shocks draw on the same development approach used in competition products, with a focus on predictable chassis behaviour and clear rider feedback. The aim is repeatable control across changing road surfaces and loads.

Shock design & features

This is an STX 46 Street rear mono shock with a gas-pressurised damping system, separating gas and oil to support stable damping behaviour. The construction is intended to maintain damping consistency during extended riding.

Tuning controls

The KA906 provides external damping adjustment for rebound. This allows you to fine-tune how the rear end returns after bumps and weight transfer, helping match feel to riding style and conditions.

Base setup (factory preset)

The shock is delivered with an Ohlins baseline setting intended as a starting point for the target application. From there, rebound adjustment can be used to tailor response for road conditions, tyre choice, and load.

Before you install

Confirm fitment for your exact Kawasaki ER-6 N/F variant (with or without ABS).
Check that the supplied fitted spring suits your typical load and use.
After installation, re-check fasteners and confirm free movement through suspension travel.
