The Ohlins STX 46 Street rear shock for the Yamaha XVS 1300A Midnight Star is built to improve chassis control and ride quality with a more stable, predictable damping feel. It uses a separated oil and gas design to help maintain consistent damping during real-world street use. The result is cleaner feedback and better composure through changing road surfaces.

Shock design & features

This is a monotube STX 46 Street rear shock with oil and gas separated for consistent damping behaviour. The architecture is designed to manage heat and pressure changes more effectively than basic designs, supporting stable performance across a wide range of riding conditions.

Tuning controls

The shock includes rebound damping adjustment, allowing you to tailor how quickly the rear recovers after bumps and weight transfer events. This helps you balance comfort, grip and control depending on load and riding style.
