The Ohlins AP320 TTX RT rear shock is designed to deliver consistent damping and clear rear-tyre feedback under performance road and track conditions. Built around the TTX twin-tube architecture, it separates damping flow paths to support stable chassis behaviour when loads and temperatures change. This unit is a rear mono shock fitment for the Aprilia RSV4 RF (Ohlins FL 930).

TTX RT products are developed from racing experience with an emphasis on repeatable performance, serviceability and practical tunability. The aim is controlled damping response so the bike remains predictable through braking, turn-in and drive.

Shock design & features

This is a gas-pressurised, oil/gas-separated rear shock using Ohlins TTX twin-tube layout. The separated design helps maintain damping consistency when the shock is working hard, supporting grip and stability across a wide range of conditions.

Tuning controls

External rebound and compression adjustments are provided to tailor behaviour to tyre choice, rider load and track surface. Rebound adjustment influences how the shock extends after being compressed, while compression adjustment affects support under acceleration and how impacts are managed through the stroke.

This rear mono shock suits riders chasing more consistent damping performance and broader adjustability than a fixed setup can offer, particularly for track-focused use. As with any suspension change, overall results depend on spring selection and the condition of the linkage and chassis.

Serviceability/lifecycle

Periodic servicing helps keep oil condition, gas pressure and seal performance within intended operating range, which is critical for consistent damping feel. Maintaining linkage bearings and swingarm pivots also supports accurate setup and repeatable suspension action.
