The Ohlins YA966 TTX GP rear shock is built for riders chasing consistent damping control and clear chassis feedback on the Yamaha XSR 900GP. Developed from Ohlins race suspension practice, it’s designed to support confident corner entry and stable drive off the turn. This unit uses a gas-pressurised, oil/gas separated layout to help maintain damping consistency under sustained load.

As part of the TTX GP family, this rear mono shock is intended for performance-focused road and track use where stability and repeatability matter. The architecture is aimed at giving predictable support through braking, mid-corner and acceleration without harshness from uncontrolled damping changes.

Tuning controls

This shock provides external adjusters for rebound damping and compression damping, allowing you to tune chassis balance and rear grip to suit rider preference and use. Use compression changes to influence support under load, and rebound changes to manage how the rear returns between bumps and transitions.

Confirm fitment for Yamaha XSR 900GP and check that the supplied fitted spring suits your typical load and riding use. After installation, set sag and verify clearance through full suspension travel before final road or track use.
