Motorbike enthusiasts ourselves, Teknik's staff of experienced mechanics have access to 4 suspension dynamometers, 2 dynamic spring rate testers, plus a huge settings database including years of motorsport involvement both on & off road.

Although we work on all kinds of bikes, we see offroad adventure & competition dirtbikes a lot more. We've developed some comprehensive front & rear upgrade discount bundles for these particular Teknik favourites. The same expert front Fork Work, pro rear Shock Work and necessary other suspension services are all available separately - but when you buy it all together in these kits you save time & a chunk of cash. It's even quicker for DR650, Tenere or Africa Twin shock exchanges!

If you're a DIY garage guru, most forks & shocks are easily removed & refitted saving extra money - read details on sending your suspension. Each deal price is based on an "as new" bike, so consumables are an additional cost. We don't know which wear parts have perished till we've opened your pair of forks or coilover damper first - so our technicians will call you to let you know which internals needs replacement & what is fine to re-use. We swap in springs rated for your rider weight if the stock ones aren't perfect. Our experienced professionals add a specially developed fork valving upgrade kit, or for upgrading damper rod forks a travel control valve, plus a matching shock valving upgrade kit. We modify & rebuild everything, filling with fresh oil. We dyno test both ends & make any adjustments till it is precisely matched for you, your bike, and your riding. And that's stage 1.

We recommend those budget stage one kits as the best bang for your buck - they are uniquely tailored for one rider & type of racing. Stage two & three kits are most useful for people who are changing terrain, luggage & pillion weights on a regular basis and need to make preload & damping adjustments regularly. All are covered by our warranties & guarantees.

For stage 2 kits you get the same tuned OEM factory forks, but we ditch the standard shock altogether; we revalve the components inside a quality aftermarket tuner adjustable unit and add the right spring rate. For stage 3 kits we add all the bells & whistles; we add & tune an adjustable performance fork cartridge kit, plus we add a hydraulic preload adjuster to that fully adjustable race shock. With spring pre load easily adjusted by hand, rebound clicker plus high & low speed compression clickers - they're tunable for any situation.
